Simon Fox
Managing Partner
Simon has over 15 years experience as an Independent Financial Advisor. He is also a Partner of Carpenter Box LLP and formed CBWM in 2008. Whilst Simon advises clients in respect of all areas of financial planning, he primarily focuses on the provision of investment and tax planning advice to individuals wishing to mitigate income, capital gains and inheritance taxes.
Roy Thompson
Senior Financial Planning Manager
Roy has over 12 years experience working in the Financial Services sector. He joined CBWM in 2011 and has a background of dealing with both corporate and private clients. The nature of his work involves him with simple, straightforward financial planning as well as more complex tax mitigation for income, capital gains and inheritance tax.
Julia Richards
Financial Planning Manager
Julia has over 10 years experience within the financial services sector. She joined CBWM in 2009 and has considerable experience in the research and strategic planning side of the financial planning process. Her technical expertise covers both the provision of straightforward solutions and also complex financial planning and tax mitigation strategies.
Jo Uwins
Operations Administrator
Jo has over 17 years financial services experience, having previously worked for a major UK financial services company. She joined the Carpenter Box group in 2009 and brought with her considerable experience in life & disability underwriting, customer services management, compliance and quality assurance.
Cathy Nicholson-Walker
Financial Planning Administrator
Cathy has spent over 25 years within the Financial Services sector. She joined CBWM in 2010, having previously held varied positions with several large insurers and other financial advisory firms.
She has broad and well-established knowledge and experience, particular in the areas of life, pension and annuity administration, high-level customer service provision, and complaints handling.
